Rhinoplasty

The procedure is aimed at correction of deviated nasal septum and/or aesthetic enhancement of the wide, humped, crooked, high nose or the nose with an overgrowth of the cartilage part. It is possible to alter the shape of the tip, the wings or the size of nostrils, but also change completely the shape and size of the nose. The incision is made inside the nose or there is an additional incision made at the base of the columella or wings to correct various parts. The procedure takes from 1 to 2 hours and is usually performed under general anesthesia. After the procedure, the nose is packed with ribbon gauze and a nasal splint is applied. A natural face appearance is obtained in 2 weeks. Healing takes approximately 3 months in total. The final shape is assessed after 6 months.
