Breast augmentation

It is aimed at improvement of the shape and size of breast by their augmentation or simultaneous augmentation and lift. It is achieved with the use of breast implants filled with saline solution or silicone gel. The shape, size, and convexity of an implant are selected depending on the preoperative breast shape, chest structure, and a patient’s request. The incision is made in the inframammary fold, in the area of the armpit or at the border of areola of the mamma. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and lasts from approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After the procedure, the breast is covered with elastic bandage and special surgical bra is worn.

The sutures are removed in 10 days. Natural appearance of the breast is obtained after a few weeks and total healing process is completed in approximately 2 months.
