Excision of skin lesions

Excision of skin lesions

Skin lesions are cut out within their borders or with a margin of tissues by means of various types of flap surgery techniques. The procedure requires local anesthesia. Depending on the area, sutures are removed after approximately 7 to 10 days. After the procedures, red scars are left that fade over time. Histological examination verifies the diagnosis and provides assessment of the borders of the performed procedure.
