Liposuction

The procedure is aimed at removal of excessively accumulated fat tissue in various parts of the body, such as chin, abdomen, hip, buttock, thighs, and knees. First, the anesthetic solution is injected into the fatty tissue, which is then tunneled to suck the fat cells out. Up to 3.5 liter of fat can be sucked out during one procedure. It is not, however, a slimming procedure.
After liposuction, a compression garments are worn. Reduction of circumference of the operated area becomes noticeable in 4 to 6 weeks after the procedure. Depending on the extent, the liposuction is performed under local, epidural, spinal or general anesthesia.
