Abdominoplasty

The procedure is usually performed in the case of obesity or post-pregnancy, when there is an excess of sagging skin. The incision is usually made from one iliac spine to the other and around the navel. The procedure takes approximately 3 hours and is performed under epidural, spinal or general anesthesia. For the first 24 hours, a patient must be lying. After approximately 2 weeks, a patient returns to normal functioning.
